■ Wikiリテラシー本？"The Digital Writing Workshop "

未入手、未見本なのですが、ちょっと気になったので、メモ。

以前、子供たちに「Wikiリテラシー」を習得させることは可能か | WIRED VISIONという記事を読んでWikiを使ったライティングの教育というのが、気になっていたのだけれど、それの実践風な本…なのかな。

この本は、2009/9/10に出版され、著者はミシガン州立大学の英語の助教で、オンラインのライティングワークショップをメインに活動をされている方のよう*1。著者ブログはDigital Writing, Digital Teaching - Integrating New Literacies into the Teaching of Writing。

amazonの書籍説明を見ると、次のようにある。

In each chapter you ll learn how to expand and improve your teaching by smartly incorporating new technologies like wikis, blogs, and other forms of multimedia. Throughout, you ll find reference to resources readily available to you and your class online. He also includes a practical set of lessons for how to use wikis to explore a key concept in digital writing: copyright.

あと、レビュー記事を書いている人、教育現場の人のようだけれど、次のように書いているのも興味深い。

I have used wikis and nings with my students, but this is the first year I have ventured into letting my students support their own personal blog.
